• Google Book Search -  Browse online versions of books.  If a book is out of copyright you will be able to see the entire contents ( "full view") of the entire text, otherwise you will be able to see selected pages of the text.
• International Children's Digital Library - A collection of more than 10,000 children's books in at least 100 languages.

• Online Books Page - Sponsored by the University of Pennsylvania LIbrary, this site lists over 20,000 free books available on the Web.
• Project Gutenberg - The oldest producer of free online books. Most of the 12,000 Project Gutenberg eBooks are older literary works that are in the public domain in the United States.
